To mark the 75th anniversary of VE Day, we dust off the 1940s songbook for a tribute to the legendary stars of that era. Spirit of the Blitz recaptures the tenacious optimism of war-torn Britain on the long road towards peace.  For those who remember the 40s, the show is a trip down memory lane; for those who don’t, it’s a Sentimental Journey back through time to the glorious melodies and good clean comedy that accompanied a dogged nation’s battle for survival.

This fully live energetic show charts the life and career of one of the worlds iconic performers. Full of hits like “Private Dancer”, “Nutbush City Limits”, “Proud Mary”, “River Deep Mountain High” and “Let’s Stay Together” to name but a few, this show is the ultimate night out.

Friday 17 July – Viva La Coldpay, at Babbacombe Theatre

Viva La Coldplay recreate the complete anthology of Martin, Buckland, Berryman and Champion.  The band perform two hours of career-spanning material from 2000’s ‘Parachutes’ to 2015’s ‘A Head full of Dreams’ taking in key tracks such as Yellow, Clocks, The Scientist, Viva La Vida, Something Just Like This, Paradise and Adventure of a Lifetime to name a few.  This is a show that will delight both fans and novices alike. It’s a great family show, suitable for all ages.

Friday 31 July, 7.30pm – Jackson Live In Concert, at Babbacombe Theatre

‘CJ’ is one of the most experienced, dedicated and well-respected Michael Jackson Tribute artists in the world today, and he perfectly captures the electrifying energy of Michael’s live performances with 100% live vocals, band and dancers.  He’s got the look, the moonwalk and the voice! Saturday 1 August, 7.30pm – The Darkside of Pink Floyd at Babbacombe Theatre

More than just an ordinary Pink Floyd tribute band, The Darkside of Pink Floyd entertain audiences with a fantastic light show and passionate performances.  Their new show for 2020 will feature more theatrical effects and lighting, as well as new songs, recently added to their already extensive set list. The touring show now has a brand new, fully automated light and laser show.

The UK’s No.1 classical vocal quartet are back with another exhilarating tour – G4 LIVE 2020.  Having exploded into the industry and the public’s hearts back in 2004 on the first series of the X-Factor, G4 continue to blow people away, year after year, with their unique style and impactful harmonic vocals, which are incomparable to any other.
