“Headland View is an intimate Bed and Breakfast set within a Victorian town house, dating back to the 1870s. Headland View offers panoramic, unobstructed sea views looking over the spectacular world heritage coast of Lyme Bay. Positioned directly on Babbacombe Downs, Headland View has six individual bedrooms. Four having French doors opening onto beautiful balconies, ideal to sit and relax while taking in the magnificent sea views and observe the many activities the Downs has to offer. Alternatively choose one of our delightful rear view rooms, top floor room offers a standard double or first floor room offers either super-king or twin beds. On arrival you will be welcomed into our sun lounge to enjoy a choice of teas and coffee, along with a slice of home made cake. Take time to relax and unwind, whilst enjoying the beautiful view. When you’re ready, we will show you to your room where you’ll find soothing décor, comfortable beds, fresh linen and fluffy towels. Royal Hotel and Carvery
The Royal Hotel and Carvery is situated centrally on the beautiful Babbacombe Downs offering panoramic views across the bay to Exmouth and beyond. Privately owned and run by Carole and Andrew since 2011 there is a daily carvery every lunchtime and all day on Sundays, along with a traditional pub menu throughout each day. Suppliers are sourced locally wherever possible with beers and wines from the beautiful St Austell. As well as being ideal for a relaxing drink or meal the Hotel has six recently refurbished bedrooms all of which are ensuite and five of which enjoy a fabulous view. With complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate, spring water and shortbread biscuits each room also has a flat screen television and there is free wifi. Seabreeze at Babbacombe
Seabreeze at Babbacombe, on Babbacombe Downs, is a beautiful Victorian property with five contemporary en-suite rooms, three with stunning sea views. Seabreeze is owned by Adam and Helen, whose aim is to make you feel at home from the moment you arrive.
The location is second to none and the well-appointed spacious rooms are welcoming. Some have recently undergone redecoration and are looking particularly beautiful. Each room has a fridge, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary biscuits and bottled water. There is a Freeview TV and DVD player, hairdryer, free guest WI-FI, sofa, wardrobe and dressing table in all. Plus, there’s also a great library of books, games and DVDs for you to browse and enjoy, should you have any spare time which, given the location, is perhaps unlikely.
At Seabreeze you can unpack, relax and just take time to enjoy a break in comfortable and luxurious surroundings with breathtaking scenery and so much to do right on your doorstep. So, you can get out and about, enjoy a fabulous Babbacombe day and come home to a warm comfortable bed for the night. All knowing that there will be a choice of delicious breakfasts to look forward to in the morning. There are stairs to four of the rooms, but the Riddlecombe Suite, which has recently undergone a refurbishment, is ideal for less mobile guests. The Buccaneer Inn
The Buccaneer Inn is not only a great bar and restaurant but is ideally located for a break in Babbacombe Bay on the highest cliff-top promenade in England. The inn has two beautiful first floor holiday rooms available to book. With breathtaking sea views, both rooms are equipped with basic self-catering facilities, a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom with walk-in shower. “Situated directly above Babbacombe & Oddicombe beaches, we are an award winning, fully licensed, family run, pet-friendly guest accommodation with 12 en-suite bedrooms. 8 have private balconies which enjoy fabulous unobstructed views across Babbacombe Downs and Lyme Bay. Each room is furnished with stylish oak furniture and pocket sprung beds. All rooms have showers, some with baths and showers over and come with a range of excellent facilities including fluffy bath sheets, hand towels and flannels and luxurious toiletries.
